Condominium and Townhome inspections are similar to a single-family home. Depending on the size of the property, condominium inspections usually take less time to inspect, but will include interior and exterior components of the home as well as the common areas of the property.

The condo inspection includes the electrical, plumbing, walls, masonry, floors, ceilings, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and the home’s major appliances. Special assessments can add expensive and unwanted costs to your budget, so we pay finite attention to not only your condo/townhouse unit, but also the common areas of the building. When we inspect the common areas, we typically examine the roofing, the building’s exterior, walkways, driveways, parking areas, hallways and entry ways to name a few.

We also recommend that the home buyer or home buyer’s real estate agent obtain board meeting minutes and information about current and upcoming special assessments and projects.
